What Invoke Human does

Invoke Human is a human-in-the-loop MCP server and one agent inbox. An agent sends a handoff. You answer on iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or on the signed web page for that handoff. The answer goes back to the agent that asked, with attribution, including who answered and how.

An account is an email address or an Apple ID. The OAuth scope is handoffs.

How to connect

The server is streamable HTTP at https://invokehumantool.com/mcp. Sign-in is OAuth. A call without a bearer token gets 401 and the protected-resource metadata, which is how the client discovers sign-in. The client config has no API key. Client snippets are also on the home page.

  1. Cursor. Save this in .cursor/mcp.json. OAuth runs in the client.
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "invoke-human": {
          "url": "https://invokehumantool.com/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  2. Claude Desktop. Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste https://invokehumantool.com/mcp.
  3. Other clients. Point them at the same URL and complete OAuth sign-in.
  4. Answer. Use the iPhone or iPad app (iOS 17 or later), the Mac app, or the web answer page for that handoff. The iOS app is in TestFlight. Join from the home page.

Where is the web answer page?

It is the signed page for that handoff, not a separate inbox you browse. Open the link the product gives you for the request.

What if the server returns 401?

The client is not signed in yet. Finish OAuth in the agent, then call again.

Delete an account or revoke access

Delete the account

Email support@invokehumantool.com from the address on the account and ask to delete it. We delete the account, handoffs, answers, and device tokens from the production database. The privacy policy has the detail. Answers already returned to an agent can remain in that client. You can also stop sharing an Apple ID with us from your Apple ID settings.

Revoke access

Disconnect Invoke Human in the agent client you connected. The server publishes an OAuth revocation endpoint at https://invokehumantool.com/revoke. Signing out of the web session is POST /account/signout. Revoking a client or signing out does not delete the account. Deletion is the email request above.
